I, with great hesitation and regret, am putting Flickers on an indefinite hiatus.
I think it's better to cut the crap and be honest with myself (and everyone reading) than to continue the delusion that I am able to work on the story in any capacity without causing myself unnecessary stress, at least given my current circumstances.
While not willing to go into detail of what such circumstances are, I at least promise that Flickers is not dead and will be finished, one way or another.
Obviously, a lot of you are probably very disappointed. The sooner I do this though, the better it will be for everyone involved. Removing the pressure of writing this story lets me direct more of my focus to where I need it the most, which in turn lets me take care of everything faster. That way, I can get back to writing Flickers sooner.
Again, this story is NOT dead. You have my word.
