ACT I COMPLETE · 6:55am Nov 24th, 2012
The Literary Appeal draws to it's Act I end, and as I prepare myself mentally for Act II, I can't help but think that this story ended up a lot larger than I originally anticipated. I've got like, so many more things to go through! The twists and turns of this fic are downright insane, and I couldn't have done it without Gravekeeper's help with the brainstorming and general "HEY MAN WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF..."
There's a lot more Cheerilee, Twilight, and Cheerimom to go around yet.
But first a repost of the comment I laid down in TLA after I posted the latest chapter.
So all of these were originally supposed to be at the end of most of the chapters of The Literary Appeal. But I didn't want to break away from Twi and Cheer, so I kept putting it off. So have a bunch of disconnected but still connected series of plot important details that set up Act II.
SO I GUESS ACT I IS DONE NOW? Okay. Fancy Pants is important to the plot now. You guys were supposed to know that before chapter two but OKAY here he is now. He's FASHIONABLY late.
Eh? Eh? You get it? It's cause he's all fashionable. Either way, everything before the first break was going to be posted between chapter 1 and 2, but I finished 2 first and it led so well into 3 and 4... Then I kinda kept going and the second break was supposed to be between the date and the morning after, and... yeah. Yeah you guys get it. It's like... DLC story time.
OH MY GOD FANCY PANTS IS CATWOMAN.
So there you have it. Fleur is Batman. Or something.
Act II forthcoming.
After reading that last chapter, I'm not quite sure if Fluer has enough brains to be Batman. Maybe... Solomon Grundy? Or some equally dull villain?
Catwoman? More like a cleaner. I was joking around with some friends not too long ago about Fancy Pants' special talent and profession. Everyone else threw out the usual Airship Inventor, billionaire playboy stuff, but I took it up a notch. Based on how everyone hung on his every word in Sweet and Elite, I threw out the idea that Fancy Pants' talent is charisma. Not just a charismatic personality, but type of telepathic influence that makes ponies in proximity like him and follow him. I never came up with a headcanoned profession, but after reading your chapter, I'm adopting the idea that he's a "problem solver" like Winston Wolf in Pulp Fiction. Knows what to say, how to say it, analyze a situation and come up with a proper solution. Let's just hope there's no "Bonnie Situation" that surfaces in your story.
