Trenderhooves, the guy who won Rarity's heart was more interested in the rustic charm of the humble earth pony Applejack. Personally I though what a pretty okay guy, he might not be the more eloquent at time, but he sure knows how to bring attention to the overlooked and hidden gems that Equestria could offer; and that to me is something that is great.
