Plot: Ever since she was a little girl, Sunset Shimmers' life has been absolute hell. Being sent to many exorcisms by her religious parents as they first thought she was possessed by a demon, because of her power to control fire. After those didn't work, her parents chose to abandon her in an asylum when she was only 6 years old. She had spent most of her life inside the asylum, as the doctors not only abused and experimented on her but performed a lobotomy on her when she was only 9. Three years later, after escaping the hellhole that she had once called her home, she was found on the streets by a girl named Twilight Sparkle, who saved Sunset from an angry mob that wanted to kill her because they hated mutants like her. After the government decreed that they would kill any mutant they saw, Twilight knew it wasn't safe for her out in the streets anymore and used her mutant powers to teleport her and Sunset out of harm's way. After their escape, Twilight takes Sunset to the one place Twilight says that Sunset will be truly safe, Celestia's home for gifted children, a school where every student and teacher has some kind of mutant ability. Along with fighting an evil Mutant Regime, will Sunset be able to get used to her new family and be able to control her own Mutant ability?
