You should know that I'm not political. I have my beliefs, and maybe they've bled into my fanfics, but I've never said anything on current situations.
I believe that people deserve better. A lot of people are getting hurt and even killed due to the current situation. I believe that Black Lives Matter, I believe that everyone should be treated equally regardless of who they are. It is part of who I am as a person. But I also know that violence is never the answer, violence only leads to more violence and makes the situation worse. And I also know that there are police officers who agree and are more often just trying to do the right thing.
People are being put in danger on both sides of the argument. This is now about the basic human right of life. Violence is never the answer, the answer is to sit down and talk. To create reforms and make the system better from the inside. We have to break the cycle, to be willing to sit down and talk. When are we going to listen? When are we going to stop and think that maybe there is a better way?
I am RuinQueenofOblivion, and I am a socialist. That does not mean I believe in revolution, nor does it mean I believe in violence. We all need to take a moment to stop, and listen, and hopefully someday... we'll all have a better world.
Glad you are on mine and a lot of common sense people's side. And honestly, I think all lives matter, not just a few.
