A rumble of powerful thunder sounding like God aimed a perfectly-executed strike and I babbed my pants. Damn, that was loud! (The thunder, I mean, not my...nevermind )
Anywho, we've got a whole lotta rain over here and a bunch of thunder comin' in which is due to happen ALL WEEK. This is gonna be a fun one. It's somehow more fitting that I've been listening to Louisiana Red and Robert Johnson before the rain got heavier with the thunder. So, is it now a working theory that old-style blues music summons thunder, rain and lightning?
Someone tell Brian Johnson to stop singing Thunderstruck, it's having negative consequences!
Your theory doesn’t seem to work for me.
Or God doesn’t believe that Leadbelly is Delta Blues.

Leadbelly's cool. Guys like him were basically godfathers of what music became in this modern age. They have influenced countless musicians over the years. Given how the story with God and Jesus went, you'd think he'd understand something about delta blues, right?
