Yes... the day has come.
I wanted to apologize to everyone who thought this fic was dead or forgotten. I feel bad that I made many of you wait *years* for the conclusion to Star Crossed Ponies. Some of you may have even left the fandom, with all the intervening time between the last update and now.
Many personal struggles have plagued me for the last several years... depression, job loss, relationship issues... not to mention that the person I was depending on to help me get better at writing turned out to be a royal bastard who put me off writing for a bit.
However, I think my personal problems are over. I found my muse once again, and posted the re-written first seven chapters, plus I started a new thing where I quote from the book Twilight wrote about her adventures, which I think adds a special touch. The story after that needs a little trimming here and there, but overall it's good enough to leave well enough alone for now. I spent the last several days outlining the next three chapters, trying to make the ending of Return of the Jedi different, but still preserve the message, and I think I've succeeded. Only time will tell, though.
As for you guys, I have to say thank you for sticking around or at least not being upset enough at me to quit following me. Star Crossed Ponies WILL be finished. And after that I've got something special in store for you! So give me a little time, and be prepared for the epic conclusion!
