Hopefully a new story, soon. · 7:19pm Jun 30th, 2020
So, this is awkward.
I'm working on this new story. Originally it was supposed to be a one shot of around 10-14k in length, but the more I wrote the more it makes to break it up into a ton of tiny chapters. And I mean tiny. The tiny chapters help, so far I'm writing two or three of them a day, and have about twelve chapters written in total. I'm hoping, hoping, that I can keep this pace though. I'm already at 3.4k words total, which is about 3/4s into the first third of the story.
Needless to say, what the story is actually about? No flipping idea. It's weird, it's eerie, it's written in a style I do not write in, and I'm almost essentially free-writing it.
Did I mention it was weird?
I honestly don't even know how the story itself will turn out. Anyway, the chapters are about 300 - 600 words in length, though there are some chapters that are under ten words long... for a good reason. I honestly have no idea how well this story will be received, and yet I have already managed to take another idea I had and turned it into this one's sequel despite them having almost nothing in common. Except Sunset, of course.
Anyway, my hope is to have this thing fully written by the middle of July so I can edit and hopefully publish it when my summer term ends.
I honestly have zero clue if it will get received well, and I don't even know why I am writing it... outside the fact that I just am.
Also, did I mention it was weird?
