Hey everypony, mares and gentlecolts!
I would post about a specific beta reader access, but I would like to give a strong and very important message to those out there who want to help others or are in need of help themselves:
There is a user on here called TasteDaRainbow, who has been in a coma (I regret not know how long exactly, sorry! But you can check his blog updates by his brother to find out how long!). I literally logged on around 10:12pm to check on my updates, and at the number ONE spot in my news feed, was an exciting and unexpected post that the dude, who has amazing work and a very, VERY supportive brother, had a new blog post saying he was out of his coma! I would like to say that the amazing news of his recovery is amazing and I hope he goes on to be a very healthy lad/man/legend!
This guy is a legend for being so strong and pulling through, and I wish there was some other, stronger way of showing my support!
I say this to all people who are suffering out there - be it a loved one or a very close friend or family member, if you can't cope with the pain of seeing them in that position - I say to you: REACH. OUT.
This guy's brother did and lots of this amazing community chipped in to offer the support they both deserved! The amazing update blogs have kept us all up to date and he's one of the strongest people I have met on the internet this year - knowing that a writer I follow was being supported despite his condition was so eye-watering for me and I would like to give all of you amazing people this advice:
By reaching out, like this loyal, supportive brother, you are very likely to find people who will support you when all feels lost. I've had this feeling many times, but having friends, online or IRL, that I can open up to has helped me in so many ways.
So, in the words of a very popular movie: "I implore you; Try. Try to make the world a better place. (It's my second favourite part! 😁) Be it from the smallest gifts of a really strong friendship and family love, to the biggest online or real life community support group "
And because this is all for just one simple, human being, anything that shows your full support will not only make them shine brighter than a shooting star, but become a proud and strong person who has pushed through the hardest things in life and has come out on top! This could be you, it could even be me, but even the slightest hint of support or help, can make someone's day and make them feel like they MATTER to the world.
Thanks dude, your words literally sank right into my heart. Still on my way to the hospital but still, I now cried like a goddamn child knowing my brother's okay.
