So, I watched the First Two Episodes of Pony Life · 1:54am Jun 22nd, 2020
I'll try to keep this spoiler free, not that there's much to spoil, and just go over some general thoughts that came up along the episodes.
Plots were 'alright". 'The Princess Probz' managed to get a chuckle from me here and there.
Characters weren't dramatically annoying Teen Titans Go! versions of themselves. They still felt more or less like the Mane Six with a few minor changes Pinkie apparently is a potion maker now in addition to a baker and just serves random potions for snacks like milkshakes. Fluttershy can grow or shrink at will and it isn't explained why.
There's a complete lack of background characters. As in there's no one walking around or doing anything in the background. Every character present is there for plot purposes.
A foal appears in one episode and I have to say that is the ugliest foal design I have ever seen.
Overall, it didn't wow me. I came in with low expectations and they were low enough that it did manage to perform better than expected. It feels like random fluff for a younger audience. It doesn't do anything to treat its audience as stupid, and does have basic lessons for the episodes. This is something I would have no issues putting on for my younger nieces or nephews, but not something most adults would find worth following. I would put it above G3 in quality, and probably more entertaining than 'G2'.
