Well, title says it all. I hit a point of profound mental stagnation about 20,000 words into my current work in progress. My full time job has been taking up the greater portion of my time lately, and to add to the insanity, I'm in the process of purchasing a home and conducting the mounds of maintenance that you only get with a vehicle that has 170,000 hard miles on it. Naturally, I've felt a bit distracted.
So, when my brain doesn't feel like making words, I make art. Below is an updated rendition of the cover photo for the first of five books that will eventually be contained within the series. The hope was that it would provide me with a bit of inspiration, and I think it has.
I wish each and every one of you the very very best in these difficult times! Remember that we're strongest TOGETHER and no matter what our beliefs or views, at the end of the day we're all in this as one!
