Let's Try This Again, Shall We?

It seems like every time I'm ready to say, "Yep, this chapter is definitely done and I'm 100% satisfied!", I end up just putting my hoof in my mouth. I'm presently on my FOURTH rewrite of Chapter 2 of "Breathe" not because I'm dissatisfied with the writing itself, but because my mind keeps changing its stance on what it thinks would be the best way to kick off what I'm hoping will be the most exciting story I've ever written.

To everypony who's read the first two renditions I posted of chapter 2, I apologize for yet ANOTHER rewrite! I'm going to take some time to sit on this one to make sure it's ready before I actually post it! Rest assured that you're not gaining any spoiling insight into what's to come if you've already read the other versions!
