    Election Night, 2012

I live in the United States of America. I was born here, in a southern state named Texas, and live in bordering Louisiana. I was raised by two loving parents, and by a loving big brother. I am proud of my brother for having bravely served in country in the National Guard Reserve, and I am thankful everyday that he came home safe from Iraq. For the first post, it's a daily double - A picture and video. First, a scene from Calvin and Hobbes, a wonderful comic strip here in America. Please remember that we read left to right - I know not everyone does.

From a sunday strip by Bill Watterson.

Second, a funny video from one of the first television series of Superman. Chairs, punches, bullets...none of it affects Superman! But when the baddies decide to throw the gun at him...

Post your own!

Also, I am straight out of depression, too. :moustache:

526866 I found it funny, Zel. Up until the very end, when I was like "What the fuck...:twilightoops:", but I laughed harder, so it's OK.:twilightblush:

Here's one more for the two people that bothered to look at this - An American college football coach at a press conference. He had been addressing the media (and one guy in particular) regarding coming after one of his players and being overly vicious in an article. At some point in the conference he insisted that they should write about him rather than his students - and this was the main line of reasoning. And it became viral in the football world instantly.
