I've been thinking...

Ok, so I'm throwing this out there cause I'm not exactly sure where to turn or how to go about this. But after MUCH consideration, I think it's time I found myself an editor because if I'm going to improve as a writer I think I'll need that kind of advice/ guidance. I love my proof reader to death, but an editor will find problems that my proof reader won't pick up on. But at the same time, this is also REALLY scary for me because I have bad anxiety and even worse trust issues and the thought of sharing my story only for it to be stolen is a fear that has literally haunted me. So I guess what I'm asking is, does anyone have any recommendations for me in an editor or the finding of one? I'm kinda, sorta, really new to this so any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.

I sugest you go here Looking For Editors. This group is how I found my editor. Also treat them well. and be patient. a lot of editors are working with multiple people.
