"A Pup Named Fenrir" Status + Overall Update

Hiya, gang! Sorry for the radio silence, I just needed some time away while I sorted out some personal things. I've undergone a spiritual and emotional re-evaluation of my life and current circumstances, figuring out how to proceed with the way events have played out. For a while, I was afflicted by low-energy and what I thought was writer's block, leaving me capable of coming up with new ideas

"Care To..." Stories & My Readers... · 7:50pm Apr 29th, 2020

To everyone that's favorited, liked and commented on my stories, I can't thank you enough, especially those that are watching me as well. I never would've expected to not only have received so much attention in so little time but also to be featured as well! Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. I wanted to take a moment to not only express my gratitude but also address the two stories in question: Care to Buy a Lady a Drink? and Care to Take a Lady Out on a Date? This'll be brief, I promise.

I wrote Care to Buy a Lady a Drink? one night on a whim, having found the picture on Derpibooru and writing a story around it. I was having trouble sleeping and thought, "Eh, why not?" After completing, I posted it up. I originally conceived of it as a one-shot but then the ideas came pouring in and voila! Care to Take a Lady Out on a Date? was born! The funny thing is, I don't consider these two to be among my best stories and yet they're generating the most buzz. Go figure. Anyways, the second one should be completed either by May or June and then I'll move on to my other, more important projects.

I know a lot of you have very valid concerns about the world this takes place in but I do in fact have an overall concept for the direction the story is going in. I'll still read your comments and respond to them, maybe even tweak the story based on your suggestions. Please, don't be afraid to give me constructive criticism but remember to be respectful and cohesive with your arguments. I can't fix something if you can't explain to me why it's wrong in the first place. With that, I must again thank everyone for their support and comments.

Thank you everyone and as always, stay groovy, colts and fillies!

That is fair, the story on itself is pretty nice and I like the idea of exploring beyond a nice little love story. It can have twist and turns, and make for one excellent drama. Sophistication and Betrayal is a good example of a pretty nice drama that involves Rarity, her ex lovers and even explore the idea of herds in a very mature way, I highly recommend it.

But I also know that sometimes exploring an idea might lead to some errors you need to go back and correct, and I'm sure you will be able to fix them. Your story is good, I'm eager to know more, (and will not gonna lie, a part wouldn't mind more small M chapters on the side around them. I really love how you portray Rarity falling real hard for the human) and I'm sure new ideas will pop up eventually.

Wish you the best of luck
