Boycotting · 12:31am Mar 4th, 2020
Normally I don't like being preachy and I am not the type to cause drama, but it's been weighing on my mind for a month now and I need to get it off my chest. I have been boycotting Funimation ever since the Vic Mignogna Situation and I haven't bought a single DVD or Blu-ray from them since that time last year. But now that it's technically over (Vic has yet to receive a response, even though I don't know what other law terms are to go by or if the news has been right), I have been pretty inactive in keeping up with the news. But this is where I get into the nitty-gritty of this blog: are you a bad person for resuming consumption of the company you despised? There have been a lot of companies that have screwed over fans various times and it'll keep getting worse (even though companies like Capcom and SEGA are making a comeback) until something gets done. But then I think about some of the good sides of the company, like the people for instance. There are some nice people working at the company like Johnny Yong Bosch, Todd Haberkorn, and Caitlin Glass to name a few. But then there are the others like Chris Sabat, Monica Rial, and Jamie Marchie as well as D.C. Douglas. I have been a follower of the Go Woke, Go Broke mentality and it's starting to wear me down. I mean, I am very dedicated to my content and I want to keep going on more of my future projects, but is there ever a limit to how much you can take before you snap like a toothpick? I don't like the SJW mentality as much as either of you do, but that's not really saying much for either side of the spectrum. What I'm asking is that can there ever be a balance to the stigma the entire world holds nowadays? I certainly don't believe everybody should get what they want nor should they be ignored entirely, but I'm unsure if anybody asks themselves these questions as either creators or as people in general. Are we selfish for thinking that we should get what we want? Or do we think to be high and mighty for ourselves to consider everyone the same level as us? Does anybody have an answer? Because I don't have an answer.
Anyway, thank you for hearing thoughts on this matter and feel free to discuss this matter down below. As a heads-up, me and Saber wrote a review on the Sonic The Hedgehog movie and we would love to hear your feedback. Anyway, leave your thoughts and opinions in the comment section down below and I will get back to you. This is Ghoul and I'll see you on the other side.

It wouldn't be a bad idea. I even had another idea of separating the art from the artist.
Question, What is the Go Woke or Broke system?

Basically, if any product has identity politics or any other sort of politically correct ideology, it's determined to fail.

So that's what ruining most of the stuff you would hope to enjoy. So what was the issue with Funimation, actually with the other subjects on your blog? I have not been aware of it. The most I have been aware of something is about an Australian senator trying to ban anime because it contains child abuse.

Well other than that delightful politician, I have been feeling unpleasant in the day we live in where everything must be right and just while the other hand says that you need to be successful and prosper with everything you have. It's a mentality that I have grown tired of and it sickens me to my very core.
