Hello!
I am now officially a writer on FimFiction and I am so excited! I've been working on this story for over a year now and I have spent countless hours drafting and revising it. Writing is like pulling teeth for me, excruciatingly slow and painful. I hope that this short story will help me become a better and faster writer. As of right now, I have the rest of the story planned out and most of the second chapter written, so it shouldn't be too long before I update the story.
See you next time!

Glad you decided to finally post your first! I hope you have good luck in your current & future endeavors; the road is likely going to be hard. I don't know why exactly you're writing, be it for fun, recognition, practice - whatever it might be - but keep pressing on! Just don't let it come at the expense of your happiness. If you aren't doing this as your primary source of income, focus more on improving and just having fun with it. There are likely to be people that will do their best to try and drag you down, and in some cases get enjoyment out of making you feel bad, but try not to let it get to you.
It might hurt, and you might never get fully used to it, but just remember that there is more than likely at least one person out there who - even if they're too shy or insecure to say anything - is rooting for you and enjoys what you write. There isn't any quick road to being a better writer; it takes time, practice and experimentation to find a style and method that works for you, and don't let anybody tell you the way you write is inherently wrong. The rules of literature and grammar can (and in many cases should) be tested, bent and sometimes outright broken. The path will probably be difficult, at times it won't feel like it's worth it, but if you're getting something out of it, be it personal enjoyment, or experience, or whatever - then keep on, at whatever pace you think is appropriate.
Good luck out there, and I hope you find success in whatever you choose to write.

Thank you for your kind words. I find them really encouraging! I’ll keep that in mind as I continue to work on my writing. Have a lovely day! :)
