Saberking2012 - Nope! I already told you I ain't watching nor reviewing any live action remakes. I'm trying to keep what little of my childhood I do have…. Oh, I got one- Resident Evil 4?
GhoulDash97 - I'd rather save that for later.
*Several minutes later*
GhoulDash97 - Oh, I got one! What about Helluva Boss?
Saberking2012 - I can do that. Alright, let's set it up.
*Moments later*
Saberking2012 - Hello everyone, I know it's been awhile but after a long hiatus, I think it's time to come back and to what you may ask? Well, to a hilarious short pilot called Helluva Boss.
GhoulDash97 - In this short pilot, it’s about three imps and a wolfgirl runnning a clientele concerning murder and extortion. This episode involves the company handling the murder of a little boy and all they’re basically doing is arguing and belittling each other. In essence, it’s a slice of life episode using the formula from The Office (only with demons instead of humans and it has a music number like Hazbin Hotel).
Saberking2012 - Or to be more specific, they're called the Immediate Murder Professionals (or I.M.P for short) with Blitzo(the O is silent) who's pretty much a discount Roger from American Dad, Loona, everyone's favorite furry (Fun fact- She VA Futaba from Persona 5 and… Blaze the Cat?! Wha- well, that makes things… make way more sense), Moxie, the Spike of the group (and is voiced by Invader Zim of all things) and Mindy.
GhoulDash97 - What, you got nothing for her?
Saberking2012 - To be fair, unlike the other three who have something of note worthy, she doesn't have anything that jumps out. Still like her as a character though.
GhoulDash97 - Anywho, they get involved in loads of hijinx that range from insane to catastrophic. We learn that Blitzo slept with a rich, powerful demon that has a thing for the poor imp and he has a personality that is enough to rival both Alastor and Angel Dust combined. Blitzo was so frightened that he destroyed his phone and had Loona dispose of it.
Saberking2012 - Well, since we can't go over the plot(seriously, I recommend watching it as explaining it doesn't do it justice), may as well go over the characters. Let's start with Blitz(o)-
He practically steals the show in this pilot with his dialogue which made me cackle until I cried. Especially when he was on Moxie’s case. He sees himself as a high-profile business man and a professional. However, he has a very fragile ego which makes him a terrible imp to run a company of murder. Ironically, in spite of his status as CEO, he is incredibly disrespectful, selfish, not to mention immature towards his employees(mainly Moxxie), leading them to treat him as a joke and even question his grandiose yet poorly-made decisions. He is not even above showing hypocrisy when he uses one of his negligent excuses. For example, he tries exempting Loona’s lousy attitude and awful behavior because he views her as a daughter and he stalks Moxxie in public and private without end. He also has a thing for theatrics and Curtis. Inside his office, he holds pictures and posters of his family and himself when they attended these performances. A nice little touch to his character without giving away too much of his origins. Oh, and since you love Loona as a waifu so much, I'll let you talk about her.

Saberking2012 - Right… and you don't have a (lewd) picture of her on your phone?
GhoulDash97 - How did you-
Saberking2012 - You act like I don't know you.
GhoulDash97 - ...Fair enough. Anyways, she’s apparently the adopted daughter of Blitzo and she’s his secretary. She has a very poor attitude at her job and she is constantly making snide remarks of Moxxie and Mindy. They both want nothing more than to see wolfish hellhound get fired from her job, but Blitzo just won’t allow it. She’s the type of character you love to hate, but at the same time, there’s a bit of a charm that makes her somewhat likable (thank Celestia for Rule 34). All in all, she’s a nice character.
Saberking2012 - Right… anyway, the next character is- Oh, you did this on purpose, didn't you? Okay, there's Millie- she’s a bright and colorful imp with a cheerful smile and always moves. She is the exact opposite of Moxxie and she isn’t shy of speaking her mind. Whether it’d be sharing her excitement or giving her coworkers the finger (to be blunt, Loona). She appears to be the heavy hitter of the company and seems to relish in her job, which leads us to believe that she’s crude and violent. From Moxxie’s point of view, she’s very dominant in bed just like her job. (...okay then).
GhoulDash97 - That's very cryptic.
Saberking2012 - Oh, like you can do any better with what little info she gives. Anyways, it's your turn.
GhoulDash97 - Well, that's awfully nice of you. Anyways, we have Moxxie, the Spike of the crew and-
Saberking2012 - Take this!
GhoulDash97 - ...You did that just for a Spike joke, didn't you...?
Saberking2012 - Yep. And I regret nothing!
GhoulDash97 - And what did it cost?
Saberking2012 - About 10 seconds of searching on YouTube.
GhoulDash97 - ...*deep breath*... At any rate, Moxxie is the chew-toy of the group. He is constantly belittled, made fun of, and abused by his fellow coworkers. He’s also pretty spineless and constantly needs to be defended by Millie whenever he’s being insulted. He is also a weapons specialist just like his wife and is just as vicious as her, although he does have an issue with unnecessary murder, shown when he felt a bit of remorse for killing a child. It shows that he is a little more compassionate than his fellow coworkers. He also loves Millie so much that he even sang a song with her while on their date.
Saberking2012 - We have all the main characters down. So that leaves us with-
GhoulDash97 - Aren't you forgetting someone?
Saberking2012 - ?
GhoulDash97 - There’s this Owl character named Stolas and he is one of the most batshit-crazy characters I have ever seen in Vivziepop’s cartoons. We learned that Blitzo slept with the birdie in order to get this book that grants him and his company access to earth before running away from him. And I don’t blame him. He is the most sexually-depraved, sadomasochistic, and foul-mouthed Owl I have ever seen/watched on an adult cartoon. In one part of the Pilot, Stolas said the most disturbing things to Blitzo on the phone. It got so bad that the imp destroyed his phone, threw it in the blender, and ordered Loona to dispose of it. This owl makes both Angel Dust and Alastor combined look like the most decent demons you will ever come close to finding in the deepest circles of Hell. There’s no outdoing this demonic bird.
Saberking2012 - Oh god, why you'd have to remind of that… And considering that it's set in the same place, I wouldn't be surprised if they encounter(or a crossover if you will) with each other one day. It was so bad, that it had to be censored(albeit, for comedic effect)! And this is the same show witch shows murder, sexual content and swearing. That's just the tip of the iceberg. And keep in mind that this is the same demon (Blitzo) who casually murders for a living.
GhoulDash97 - You would think that Hazbin Hotel would be ahead of the game, but Viviziepop found a way to outmatch it. That’s how screwed up Helluva Boss is. It may be a comedy, but it has its raw moments. Which isn’t much to say about its sweeter moments between Moxie and Mindy. Even if the former is a bit of a wuss, he had it really good with the latter as we have seen in the whole episode and its credits.
Saberking2012 - You know something's screwy if hell has a better relationship than most real life people. Now, with that said, like all shows, there are flaws in them… is something I would say if I could find any that haven't already been pointed out and/or obvious(like the profanity and violence and such to which I have no issues with). Unlike Hazbin Hotel (which has three times the length and can be talked about more in detail), this is only 10 minutes( 11 with credits) and since it's a pilot, there's not much I can say that can really be considered criticism. Would I recommend it? Oh yea, by a long shot. But I can say that it's not for everyone. If you don't like the Office, this one may not be for you.
GhoulDash97 - But with that said, this is one of the best pilots I've ever seen and it is up there with Vivziepop's works. In my most humble opinion, I haven't seen any show that great since the 2000's and even then, it's premise alone would be enough to draw anyone into its own unique take on Hell and the company that caters to murder and extortion. Either way, I can highly recommend this if you are into The Office or any other slice-of-life show you have watched on TV or YouTube.
Saberking2012 - Really, my only gripe with it is there isn't another ep yet. But that's more of a personal problem than anything. Huh, now I wanna review Hazbin Hotel although that one will take much longer. I'd say more but this review is long enough as is so I'll leave it at that.
GhoulDash97 - Either way though, it’s been a fun review and I honestly enjoyed Helluva Boss (even though it was only a Pilot and there hasn’t been another of it yet, but we have the 2nd half of the year to look forward to). I look forward to seeing Vivziepop do more of this show and I can’t wait to review more of the episodes when the time comes. We have Hazbin Hotel next, but that’s gonna take longer than this review and we still have other projects to work on. With that said however, we appreciate you all reading this review and we look forward to reviewing Hazbin Hotel soon. We also have the Sonic the Hedgehog review coming next month, so look forward to that as we go into the movie and it’s history before the present version (which was last year, but that’s another story). *Editor's note*- After further research, I realized that Millie and Loona have the same voice actor. I also misspelled Millie with Mindy(Don't ask me how I mixed that up

I can say that the 2019 Godzilla movie is without a doubt AWESOME^^ it says more true to the spirit of the Showa Era Godzilla movies^^ and I love them for it!
