So I just realized something. Besides an old favorite of mine, The Day My Beard Turned Into Pinkie Pie (and you could also argue parts of Half-Minute Horses), I've never really written anything crazy.
Which is curious, because the entire reason I got into writing MLP Fanfiction is that long ago, I was chatting with a good friend of mine online about writing, and I decided to write an impromptu Jurassic Park fanfic in which everyone was insane. The lawyer, Donald Gennaro, was a muscular thrill-seeker who jumped out of his helicopter and basically landed on top of Alan Grant in greeting. Ellie Sattler was a no-nonsense soccer-mom type who was fed up with Dr. Grant's BS. Every kid in the story was overly-obnoxious to the point where the park staff would have gladly handed them over to the dinosaurs, and one of the park staff was a, ahem... he was into 'herbs.' A lot.
My friend read all of this nonsense, loved it, and encouraged me to continue to write. I told him I didn't really know what to write about, he suggested MLP, and here we are.
So anyway, what I want to ask my readers is if they'd care to see my more absurd creativity unleashed. Just once. Mind you, characters would have their personalities... stretched... as far as I could get away with. Not much would make sense, and yet it would somehow all end up making sense.
This is just a really early idea. Something to keep my creativity going. Let me know what you think!
