It terrifies me, but I'm trying to give Hasbro the benefit of the doubt......

This might be Hasbro kind of doing damage-control and ensuring that, if Pony Life doesn't work, it's not their responsibility and then choose the moment to introduce G5, having bought themselves some much-needed time.
Cunning, I have to admit.
I might be looking at this too deep but either Nickelodeon work hard on this and it pays off or they don't and Hasbro have an easier time one-upping them.
Regardless, nothing's certain.

Seems extremely unlikely to me. The original press release explicitly said it would be on Discovery Family, and there seems to be literally no source for any change in that info other than that image on KnowYourMeme. Heck, "eMedia Television" doesn't even seem to exist except as some random YouTube channel with 6 subscribers that obviously has nothing to do with Hasbro.

Plus which, knows the way that Viacom International, the parent company of Nickelodeon, does things, they'd probably insist on trying to buy MLP from Hasbro, lock, stock and barrel, and yeah, no, I don't see that ever happening.
