Getting that feeling

Ya know that feeling you get where you pour your heart out in your work, then come back to it after a long time and realize "this is awful!"
I'm sure most of the authors here have gotten that feeling at least once. And boy oh boy am I feeling it now!

Oh boy.

So for my story I've been trying work how how I wanna include Discord (or even if I wanna include him at all) and I'm beginning to discover just how hard writing a character that cares little for sense or sanity really is. How do you write a character who's biggest motivation is to make things crazy? If I do include him I don't want him to just be a cop out to make something in the story work that normally wouldn't. He needs to have an actual reason to be featured, and I can think of one or two ideas but those don't help me write a character.

I'm not sure if I'm making any sense myself so I'll just leave it here. Yea I'm still working on No Friend. It's just slow.
