Christmas in Aincrad! · 5:22pm Dec 19th, 2019

The above image of is of Mishe on Christmas Eve, taken from the anime. Which, of course, is where the Wondercolts' Headquarters is. Nice and festive.

When I wrote this story, I started in the summer. The first Christmas in Aincrad they were on the Fourth Floor, the Second the Front Line is Floor 49. Book 2 has the mini arc "Red-Nosed Reindeer, " or the Third Anime Episode. That is what gave me the idea to celebrate the Second Christmas in Aincrad, and the one that most of the players probably acknowledged. This episode was finished and ready for my Beta Readers by the end of September. The fact that the "Christmas Episode" is being released on Christmas week, well that is an incredibly amazing coincidence. I will chuck up to Pinkie Pie doing a good job breaking the fourth wall. I didn't plan that time sync, or just make this episode up either.

However, since Tuesday is Christmas Eve, a special day for me, I will not be releasing it on the 24th. The release will be on Sunday the 22nd. I want you guys to be able to spend both days with family if you can. I myself can't except for one of my brothers, the big family celebrations being done for a short while. However, I will be having at my house a "Bruce Wayne's Orphan Christmas," with some friends who like me, have no family to celebrate with in the area. A few of them are active duty military. And calling it just an "Orphan Christmas" sounds pathetic, so the organizer decided to add more fun to the name.

So, if you are a creature of habit and want to wait to read it on Tuesday, you can wait, but the release will be early so you don't have to even entertain the idea of splitting your time between family, friends, and loved ones, and reading an awesome tale. Like I said, this year, Christmas is with friends for me. I do sincerely hope you have someone you can celebrate the holidays with. A lot of religions celebrate a non-christian Christmas now, but if you don't celebrate Christmas, then happy holidays! We have a lot different holidays happening at the end and beginning of our calendar year.
