    Author update!

I'm editing stuff! But also incredibly dried out of writing power atm. I'll get going again soon, but just bear with me for a bit. I'm publishing a chapter of XCOM today, then start on the daily writing (not publishing) again tomorrow morning. In the meantime, always remember:

    Remembering Koji Wada

Like every year, I like to remember the man/legend responsible for the theme songs of one of my favorite shows of all time on the anniversary of his death.

So if you were wondering about the timing for the latest Isekai chapters? There you go.

    Welp, here's a life update

These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster. Good things have happened, and also bad ones. No wonder I could relate to both Furina and Navia in the latest Isekai chapter. Sometimes pretending things are fine is really exhausting, even if they do get better.

Update to the Isekai coming tonight! And some additional details and change of plans.

First, to everyone waiting patiently for the next Isekai chapter, I apologize for the delay. I know there are a lot of people that want to see another visit to Hell happen soon, and it will, I promise. However, due to some circumstances, I decided for a different pair of visitors to visit the bar this week.

I've been listening to these guys for the last month. No idea how I found them.

I was half-expecting something a lot more metally, once I saw the outfits, but I was not disappointed. Thanks for sharing, i’ll have to look these guys up sometime

I love these guys and gals, one of their other songs, Odin, is awesome!!!

Interesting, maybe you would like Wardurna

That have been in my youtube mix list for few months by now. Check Wardruna and Garmarna if you liked it

Skald has a good vibe. sets a mood and keeps it coming. good stuff

Agreed. I've always loved these sorts of bands that get clustered under names like "neo-medieval", "celtic rock", "celtic metal", various phrases involving "folk", etc. (eg. Faun, the lighter stuff by Eluveitie, Omnia, Týr, some of Finntroll's stuff, etc.)

I was also reminded of another song named Rún (by Fuimadane) which sets a quite different vibe. (On the other end of the mood spectrum, that album also has þyrstr.)

5155463 Yeah, I also discovered them like a month ago randomly and I really liked them.
5155468 Metal is good! Do you have any recs?
5155516 yes, I like Odin! I chose this song because I really like the tempo of it.
5155526 5155539 I will definitely check them out.
5155540 Agreed!
5155742 I have yet to find anything named after a Rune that is not somewhat epic in nature.

Oh man, I've been on a wild run of pagan/viking style folk music for a year now, perfect music for autumn and winter. Started with Heilung then got into Danheim, Wardruna, Skáld, Rúnfell, Fuimadane, Rúnahild, Nytt Land, Osi And The Jupiter, Kaunan.... just a ton of all sorts of different artists.

Possibly one of my favorite things is the simplicity of it yet how much it can speak to me, for an example:

A handful! :twilightsheepish:

As far as metal goes, I'd say Epica's one of my favorite bands, though it's a not-so-metal song of theirs that's stuck out to me a lot (Also a bloody fantastic story based on the aforementioned song). They can be a little hit-or-miss for me, since they have this tendency to have, like, really beautiful angelic female vocals and also deep guttural growly bits in the same song, and I love the former while the latter never really works for me. But I'm rather fond of this one and this one. Nightwish is pretty good too, I've enjoyed quite a few of theirs.

For other individual songs, I really like Rainbow in the Dark and Unsucessfully Coping With the Natural Beauty of Infidelity.
