Updates and such

So, naturally, as soon as I update my bio to say "I think I'm going to be more of a presence around here" I go and disappear for a good 5-6 months. Well done, me.

I do still plan on finishing Princess ♥ Princess - just a couple more chapters to bring a bit of closure to it.

After that, I plan on getting into writing stuff that I've been planning for quite a while - the first one will be a GallStream fic (I love that ship). I won't get into detail beyond that for now, as I want to play my cards close to the vest.

Instead, I'll say that I'm joining EqD's NaPoWriMo, in order to give me further inspiration to stick with it, or more importantly, get significant work done.

Since I don't feel like commenting on my upcoming works any further, I suppose I owe my followers (yes, all 10 of you) an apology (and I am indeed sorry), as well as an explanation as to why I've been gone for so long.

I had intended to finish up Princess ♥ Princess in early May, but unfortunately, it ran well over that (obviously). The reason I had to stop any writing for it was the fact that I had a huge exam coming up at the end of June (like, literally, I needed to pass it to graduate and obtain my Master's degree), and so I had to study my butt off, starting mid-May and lasting through basically the end of June. The one thing I will say is that I did end up passing, so all that relentless reading and long-form listening was worth it in the end.

After that, I dunno, I just didn't really have the motivation for all of July. I'm not entirely sure why - but I think it was at least partially due to the hot California summer, as that usually happens. I think I was also kind of glum about the show coming to an end, and (especially in the latter half) focused on going to BronyCon. I had a great time, by the way - so glad that I was able to make it to that last one. Right after that (like, literally 2 days after I got back home, I went on vacation again - this time with my family).

After that, I was mostly focused on enjoying the show, and not getting spoiled by those early releases. I guess I was kind of worried about what I might see here, but I dunno.

The show ending made me glum again (I mean, it has been a part of my life for nearly 8 and a half years now...), but I think I've finally rounded the bend.

So yeah, my goal is to finish up Princess ♥ Princess over the weekend, and then get started on what I'll be working on (using NaPoWriMo as a motivator).
