Howdy again,

Sorry for posting so many of these blog posts lately, especially since I won't have any new content available for you until December 1st, but... well... I just watched the show's final episodes. Though I was unfortunately spoiled on a few things, there was a good chunk that I wasn't which made the last two-parter so awesome. That said, even though I knew that this was going to be the end of many things, I didn't think that I was going to be so emotionally invested. I enjoyed the two-parter well enough, but I didn't imagine that I was going to cry. For the record, throughout MLP's run I've cried only three times:

I cried when the Crusaders got their Cutie Marks.

I cried at the ending of the Perfect Pear.

And I cried after Rainbow's beautiful speech to Scootaloo in Flight to the Finish.

All three of these moments held an unexpected emotional energy which I connected to personally, thus making the impact so much stronger. Very few shows do that to me; it only happened to me once during Steven Universe though I can't remember where.

So, that being said, I was prepared for the punches...

... but I was still not prepared for the ending of The Last Problem.

...

... That's it. That's all I wanted to say and share today. Just... wanted to say that it's been a pleasure riding this wave alongside all of you. But, no matter what happens next; no matter if the 10th comic season fades into obscurity, Equestria girls doesn't end properly, or gen 5 turns out to be a dud, we were all in this together when we were taught how Friendship is Magic.

And now let this be the beginning of a new tale for us all.
