Is the fandom really dying?? · 5:32pm Oct 10th, 2019
So I just finished watching the last episode of FIM however I went searching for information on G5 and I found a blog that a journalist has written and i read that the final brony con will be this year ever and that the Story boarders, Animators and Artists have all but abandoned the show becoming bored of the series and so if they make a gen 5 the same story is unlikely going to gain momentum so in a way the fandom is dying out, so we should pay our respects to our favorite pass time finally accepting that all things eventually die, this marks an end to the era, a sorely missed one. Goodbye old friend.
For the love of...... I will give you this simple answer: NO. IT WILL NOT DIE OVERNIGHT.
I mean really though: A majority of Fanbases still keep going even without the show for reference canon material. I mean.... look at the following Fanbases for examples: Ed, Edd n Eddy, Phineas and Ferb, and Gravity Falls.
Even after the end of the show of the aforementioned 3 in their respective years (aka Ed Edd, n Eddy in 2009, Phineas and Ferb in 2015, and Gravity Falls in 2016). the Fanbases for them are still going strong.
FYI: That happened TWO MONTHS AGO.

It was just what I read I take no merit to what journalist say but if it is then I am ready to accept it, that's all but I don't like to believe that it is the end there will be more I can imagine.
