Need A Poem? · 1:58pm Oct 8th, 2019
Just wanted to let everypony know that I love writing poetry, and a lot of people(my friends, teachers, family, etc.) are saying that I am very talented, despite my beliefs otherwiseđ. I'll add one poem on here to let you all see what you could be working with. I'm offering free help no strings attached, to anyone who wants or needs a poem to be added to their story. Note: I have struggles just like everyone else and I am still going through a rough part of life right now, so I won't always be available and sometimes I won't feel like doing anything. But, I promise you, that once I get started on a poem, you'll have one up and ready in less than a month. I LOVE POETRY! Sorry, got a little excited lol.
Here's the dealio, I can't guarentee that I will be able to write a poem about certain things because my passions are limited, I have to be able to feel the words within myself, and if I can't feel a poem, then it isn't a poem. Hope that doesn't confuse anypony lol. A hint of what I write or hope to write: romance, nature, darkness, depression/suicide, fury like raging fire, sadness like vast oceans, evil fantasy murder, silly/comedy. If some of you assumed I was this innocent little creature writer, then you are dead wrong lol! I can be both dark and light and neutral. Okay, I mentioned that I had a poem I was going to add on here and I don't like breaking my promises. Most of the time, I don't make promises, mainly because I know firsthand what that can do to someone who always has high hopes and is always disappointed. I would never dream of doing the same thing to you guys. Here it is:
Raining Stars
By
Phoebe C. Moonchild
I wander along a random path
With tall trees on either side.
A forest covered in sprouts of grass,
Bathing in the gentle night.
Neither cold, nor warm,
Just in between.
Neither shape, nor form
Of creature is seen
All is silent, save for my footsteps,
A feature of the night I love.
A spark of light peaks my interest,
And my gaze drifts up above.
A shooting star, how rare a thing to see,
To come across my vision!
I close my eyes and dig down deep
And it grants me my wishinâ
I look once more upon the night sky,
And stare with raw astonishment.
With my own two eyes, I cannot deny
Such an impossible accomplishment.
The night above me cries her tears,
So happy to bring me joy.
I set aside my doubts and fears,
For it be best that I enjoy.
Her stars, they fall upon the earth.
I canât help but be mesmerized.
A beautiful sight, so bright it hurts.
For now I am paralyzed.
Soon after Iâm broken from my daze,
I head to the ocean with glee.
The stars of the night set the water ablaze
And I float about without worry.
Granted an endless view of the painted sky
From a star I wished upon,
I enjoy it while I still have time,
For soon, it will be gone.
Here is another one, comedy to be exact:
Birds Will Be Birds
ByÂ
Phoebe C. Moonchild
âDonât you just love those pesky cats?â
âWhy canât they just bother mice and rats?â
âI donât know but they sure are annoying!â
âEspecially when they feel like toying!â
âWe are so lucky to have wings.â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
âWho knows what those cats can bring?â
âI hate it when they climb the trees,Â
But love it when they get stuck in trees!â
âItâs sad that sick Billy got caught by one.â
âBut, at least the cat was poisoned some!â
âBilly died a hero that fateful day.â
âThat cat wonât bother us in any way.â
âOh, those cats arenât the only thorns.â
âThere are those squirrels with their acorns!â
âThey climb our trees and hit us with bark!â
âTheyâre still awake even after dark!â
âAnd woodpeckers are the craziest of all!â
âCanât keep out that sound, not even a wall!â
âThey slam their beaks against our home!â
âI canât wait to break that little dome!â
My Temple Of Elements Is My Prison Of Laments

Why, oh why was I born into the fires of hell?
Where, oh where did everything go wrong?
Was it the voice inside my heart,
Telling me I didnât belong?
Why, oh why was I frozen in the ice of fears?
Where, oh where did that lovely warmth go?
Why did I leave behind trails of tears,
When I was numb to the ice and snow?
Why, oh why was I buried beneath the earth?
Where, oh where was that fine, fresh air?
What I wouldnât give to feel that sweet relief,
If life wasnât so unfair.
Why, oh why was I tossed into the tide?
Where, oh where was there land?
Why was the ocean so vast and wide,
Keeping me from a dream so grand?
These are just a few of my favorites that I wrote by yours truly! And, if you are in need of any ideas for your stories, I would be happy to offer some. I am no editor or proofreader; I have one helping me out with a story of mine right now. I mainly offer ideas for romance and adventure, sometimes mystery. I love comedy, so if you want ideas for a story line or just a simple scene or paragraph, I'm open. With love, Moonchild
P.S. My cat, Gotham, is a freaking weirdo lol! Goes on these rare little growl runs of his. I swear, I need to take a video sometime. If I'm lucky, then I'll share the video on Facebook, Messenger, and on Fimfiction.net. You guys would love him, he's so adorkable!!!
these poems are incredible! you have some serious talent!

Thanks so much! Those poems were written last year, and I haven't written a new one since. I'm going to write a new one soon. If you are ever in need of a poem, I'll be around.
