Dear Journal,
Ember told me a while back she’s been writing down her thoughts into a diary. I thought now is as good enough a time as any to start doing the same! Not an official record. But just something to… remind me of these times someday far down the road. That is… if we live that long.
Xenos, Hugh, Viktor and myself… we’d follow the commander anywhere! He’s always taken his job so serious! Put the country ahead of his own wants and desires! And… and always found time for the four of us and our troubles. This level of trust… it started so humbly with a conversation about Miss Pommel. Not only did he believe us, but he looked into it personally! He… he saved Miss Pommel’s life, and countless generations of foals from Matron Tempest! We’ll follow him to the ends of the world!
I guess we already went beyond that though. This isn’t our world! But it’s where we need to be right now! By the commander’s side, ready to spring to his aid at any time! Even at the cost of our own lives!
Princess Celestia MUST be saved! She’s here somewhere in this big, scary new world! If anypo… if anyone can find her, it’s our Hero of Light! I only pray we aren’t too late!
Do not be afraid of the unknown.
