Journal Entry - Volume 10 - Chapter 3 · 7:33pm Sep 25th, 2019

Dear Journal,

Cherry. That word used to only signify a small, red fruit in my mind. But… after meeting her, it took on a whole new meaning! Her beautiful smile… luminous green eyes… and ruby red hair are eternally etched into my memory. I… I enjoyed holding her in my arms. Feeling her warmth… her heartbeat through my chest. And her scent was just so… intoxicating! I’ve never felt this way about anyone before, a won’t ever again! Cherry was on in a billion! No! There is no way to catalogue, list or… or express how I truly felt about her! She and I should have spent the rest of our lives together! Whether that mean us at Cherry Hill Ranch, or her and I in Ponyville… it would have mattered little to me.

Ruby… I’m sure you miss your sister, as you loved her dearly. But I… I loved her just as much! This feeling of loss… of emptiness… it’s… it’s just… I can’t think of a word to describe it! My mind is a mess right now! Like a piece of my brain was just… removed! And it was the best part!

I had written you a poem that I had hoped to share with you on our wedding day. But, now… now I can only record it here. It’s not much, but was my very best! For you…

Cherry.

From your mane…

To your tail…

From your hairband…

To your bow…

From the tip of your nose…

To the end of your tail…

You are… perfect!

I know it’s sounds kinda corny, but… I meant every word! If somehow you can hear me, my love, know this! When we meet again one day… it is then that I will read it to you! Face… to beautiful… smiling face! Until then… wait for me, Cherry!

I love you!

The death of a loved one does not end the love you feel for them.
