It's kind of the perfect time for this movie to come out for me, as I only started watching Breaking Bad two years(rushing through season 1 in one day because it was so captivating), and have seen every episode of Better Call Saul as well.
I am pumped for this. Expectations?
Well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Walter White to return. I know he's dead, I know his story is over, but I want it. And in an important role. If he has to be dead, he should be present as a hallucination that still haunts Jesse. If they'd called the film simply El Camino, I might've felt differently, but it's the Breaking Bad movie. So I feel like Walt's presence is kinda required.
I love the feeling of paranoia generated in everything we've seen so far, as a result of Jesse's captivity by the neoNazis. It's gonna be a brooding film about a terrified shell of a man driven to near-insanity and I am so here for it.
Actually, if you watch MatPat's theory on it, he reveals that Walter is still alive!
