I’m a noob writer who goes by the seat of their pants, making a general plot line, but nothing incredibly detailed. I’ll be working on these things and focusing more on the central plot.

Note: These were ideas that I’ve had for a while. I’m kinda wanting to go through with at least one of them at some point. As many have seen, I recently recreated my Bionicle story. Though, I have a problem.
How do the ponies and Makuta get along? What do the Makuta do in times of peace? What daily jobs would fit each Makuta?
Should all the Makuta remain in Canterlot, or should they be stationed in separate villages and cities?
Should anyone read this, please give me your thoughts and feedback. I need help.

1: I feel that the Makuta and Pony kind should have a shaky relationship to start with, which then leads into a healthy co-existence as they work alongside each other
2: prahaps they could train the Royal guard (solar and lunar) in different types of weapons and combat tactics? or set a timetable for Tia to make her life easier
3: maybe some could help to better architecture, pluming and/or new home improvements? or maybe slowly introduce them to new technologies?
4: I think the Makuta should stationed at different villages or cities. Maybe to act as guardians prahaps?
