    My muse has returned

Finally, after 7 months since I had last touched my work, I have returned to it, reviewing and editing what I have in preparation for continuing and hopefully finishing the story (even though I have a good 45 chapters to go more likely than not).

    Come back muse, come back!

    Hello everyone

Mostly here to say I'm still around. It's a frustrating feeling knowing that my inner muse will not come back and help me work. I have the timelines figured for each of my existing works as well as the new dawn reboot (I am far too prone to them, I know), yet when it comes to writing on the chapter, my mind goes blank and then it just doesn't happen...

    Stress, so much stress

I'll spare everyone the longer drama, but a lot of things had been stressing me out lately, mostly car stuff (and a bit of in law stuff), and all of that should be behind. I may need to tighten my belt some, but considering I've been needing to lose a little weight anyway, it won't hurt.

September Status Update · 10:36pm Sep 17th, 2019

So, things have gone very well with meeting my adoptive sister over labor day weekend and my mate and i are very happy to have had her over. really had some fun and we're already scheduling more meetup things.

Regarding writing, I'm extremely pleased with the shorter story that I've nearly completed. I have regained my confidence in the project that I had since been worried about and can safely say it is probably a mere two chapters away from completion, ignoring any epilogue chapters I choose to have. Surprisingly, I am at chapter 9 (a third of the way through) and have only needed 37,000 words to say what I have so far. Granted, it needs revising as always and perhaps an editor could be requested that isn't myself, but nonetheless, i am very happy with it.

Training a princess never got discussed between Scorched and myself as planned. Frankly, a lot of things kept happening regardless, and I will still apologize for any eager readers I may still have. Simply put, trying to once again determine how to proceed with the intermediate times between dawn's injury and the expected outcome of that and the few more years after that (where the earlier project came into play). There are some events I'm sure need revised again, and trying to figure how much is interesting for readers and how much is just slowing things down from completing other projects (like project chaos wars). Will be talking with discord fimfiction's help group to brainstorm or get feedback though.

Project Chaos Wars itself is needing more refinement. Thanks to several individuals at the help group mentioned above, Scorch and I have realized we aren't on the same page for how to make things happen, what kind of genre it will be or what the enjoyment is going to be so we can maximize that aspect. Scorched and I will be discussing this further this sunday (or at least that's the plan, if we don't get distracted, if i can stop getting sick, etc).

So help me, I will get these things done, cause I really really REALLY want to get an alternate timeline thing of Dawn and the mirror of worlds done that'll tie in to Project Chaos wars too. Still debating with scorch who would post, who the main focus is, and so on, but i will get all these things done! once I finish all of these projects, I'll be moving on to writing fiction that maybe can sell... Anyway, till next time everyone, and thank you for reading.

Edit 6:07CDT same day (less than an hour later): got to talk with the help chat, and generally speaking, it's agreed i'm covering too much and shouldn't do so, that i should focus on the highlights. I think i know what events are going to be good enough to cover from this point, a couple guest chapters from scorch regarding the reactions of the IED, the recovery, possibly a couple others later on. So, we will see how it turns. the toughest part will be making the shift from the past meandering to the more focused one i'll be aiming for.
