Weekly Satuday Blog #2

Good morning everyone! I hope you guys are having a great start to your labor day weekend. Let's get down to business, shall we?

First off, the next chapter of "Finding Her Path in Life" has been released a few days ago. So for those who were curious about the next update, I promised I would deliver before today and I did. Now I'm not sure when the next chapter will come out, I think for right now I'm going to be shifting my focus on "Rekindling the Flames." Speaking of which...

Second, "Rekindling" is finally out of hiatus mode and has been put back into incomplete. Now, unofficially, it's been in incomplete mode since Wednesday. I've had my mind on this story all week and have been seriously wanting to go back to writing it. So technically, I never really did take a break from it. I've been working on chapter 5 since Wednesday and it's still not done yet, it's taking me a little longer than I expected. Now part of this is due to being back in college and another part is due to multiple instances of writers block. But I've got a plan written out in my journal and, so far, it's working out pretty well. I'm expecting myself to have the rough draft done today, get it turned over to my lovely editors, and hopefully get it published by Monday or Tuesday.

Third, in addition to chapter five, I will also be releasing another chapter that's more of a "deleted scene" if anything else. You see, I was talking with one of my editors about chapter 4 and he brought up the idea of Flash seeking advice from either his friends or family after the events of chapter 3. Now at the point of that conversation, both chapters 3 and 4 had already been published, but the idea was so good that I couldn't pass it up. So when I publish Chapter 5, I will also be releasing Chapter 3.5. Now this isn't an official chapter, like I said it's more of a deleted scene. But I figure that since you guys have been waiting so long for a new chapter, I might as well give you all a little bonus feature.

Finally, I want to thank you all for reading my stories. I've gotten a few new followers recently, including AeroLiger and Sunset_Shimmer83, thank you guys so much for following me. Next, "Rekindling" is getting close to reaching 1,000 total views, which is just straight up amazing to me. Hey, maybe if gets enough traction I'll turn it into a "Bride of Discord" like audio drama. HA, yeah right, like that's ever going to happen.
