Journal Entry - Volume 9 - Chapter 9

Dear Diary,

Dad’s home! While I wish he was here to stay, I’m still happy to see him again! Mom’s sick, so he came back to attend my parent/teacher conferences! I figured he would be to busy to come. But when I talked to Miss Pommel about it, she said she’d try to call him anyways. Somehow she was able to get a hold of him and explain the situation! I guess my dad really is never TOO busy to help me! Just like mom!

Hopefully someday, when I have foals of my own, their dad will be just as loving as my dad is now!

If you’re too busy to be there when your children really need you… you’re too busy… period!
