Dear Journal,
It looks like I really did it this time! Out on my own, away from Twilight. I thought I’d be safe aboard Arc’s ship. Take a bit of a ride, get off in Canterlot and start a new life! Little did I know at the time that Arc was heading across the Celestial Sea to Abyssinia! When the ship’s crew found me, I knew I was in trouble! They brought me to Arc. I thought he would at least be mad! But he wasn’t! He’s agreed to take me in and even gave me a job aboard ship! If I do a good job here, I’m sure he could find me something to do at the castle! At least then I wouldn’t have to put up with Twilight’s crap!
Arc’s a good guy! Had he wanted to, he could have sent me to the orphanage… or even back to the Dragon Lands! I really owe him big time for this! Someday, I’ll find a way to pay him back! I promise!
Sometimes parents can work too hard at their job, and accidentally neglect their children. While not right, they do still care for you.
