Captain’s Log…
This new ship truly is a marvel of mechanical ingenuity! Princess Celestia certainly spared no expense in it’s creation! I am sad to have to take her out on her maiden voyage without my old friend standing with me at the helm. However, I understand the Lord Regent’s mission is urgent! With any luck, we can avert this conflict before it gets out of hoof!
Lord Arc came aboard earlier. He doesn’t look too good. Something was said about an injury of some kind. If the situation was different, I might suggest he reconsider this trip! But from what I’ve heard, it doesn’t look like our neighbors to the north are going to wait. Lord Arc’s actions here could either stop this conflict… or start it! I do not envy his position on this matter! Hopefully he is as competent as the princesses believe him to be. If not… our nation’s future looks bleak.
