Journal Entry - Volume 7 - Chapter 14 · 9:25pm Aug 27th, 2019
Dear Diary,
I received an order in the new Lord Regent’s name to head to a small village named Ponyville. As instructed, I contacted him when I arrived and was told to wait. Assuming I would have to wait a while for a messenger or guard of some kind to show up, I decided to rest my eyes. Some time later I heard somepony approach and call my name. Looking up, I saw it was none other than the Lord Regent himself! Admittedly, it took all my courage to not faint right then and there!
He escorted me to he base on the outskirts of town and explained the situation to me. I must say, I’m most impressed by his attitude toward the young mare! A less compassionate stallion would have passed this matter on to her immediate supervisor! Or at the very least delegated it to SOMEPONY else! While I do not understand why he insists on taking care of the mater personally, I’m sure he has a good reason.
This mare… she must be somepony very special.
