Dear Journal,
Trixie and I have been summoned to Canterlot Castle. Apparently there's something wrong with the princesses, and he's taken over their duties! This has never happened before!
Arc, he... he wants me to be his Captain of the Royal Guard. While this should make me very happy, it does not. Trixie says I'm being silly, but... Captain Decimus has generations of knowledge and training on his side! I'm just... me. Not sure why Arc would want me in this job, but I'll do my best!
At least Trixie is here with me. She's doing her best to reassure me but... but the stress of this position is going to drive me crazy! I have to stay strong for her sake as well as Lord Arc and the country! Hopefully this will all be over soon and things can go back to the way they were. Trixie and I traveling the land and helping other ponies along the way. It was a lot of fun! She says that now we can help everypony all at once, but... that statement goes both ways! We might help, or we might make this situation worse!
As capable as a leader might be, they can't do everything. Sometimes we just have to roll up our sleeves and help them.
