A Suprise To Be Sure, But A Welcome One

Well....that was unexpected.

To say that Idol has surpassed expectations is a vast understatement. I'm still processing the fact that its been in the feature box for three days now and has garnered over 200 likes in that time. So thank you to everyone who liked it! It is probably my most successful story since Letters, which is my pride and joy. I think it's quite amusing to see it do well especially since I was seriously considering scrapping it halfway through.

Still, I suppose as this is a follow up blog I should explain some things and outline what's to come.

The story itself is doing very well, but people have raised some concerns about the grammar and editing which I find totally justifiable. I may have released the story a bit rawer than I should have.

I will try to ensure this does not happen again. I will decide for the Sequels if I should get an editor to look over them before publishing as clearly I am not doing enough. I will also ensure that the dialogue wall in Idol is not repeated. It was a writer's trap I fell for and failed to write my way around.

Because I said I would consider doing sequels if it was successful, I have now committed to writing several follow ups with the mane 6 as requested by several people in the comments.

I have two draft titles which I will begin work on immediately. I hope I can get Pinkie's out by next week.
