Wow!
So the old counter is saying I joined Fimfiction ten years ago today! 
Ten years on the site. Honestly feels like it was only yesterday I was the awkward teenager creating an account so that I could favourite some stories I enjoyed at the time. A little while after that, I gave a try at the writing side of the site, which, to be fair the site allowed me to express in ways I could not imagine. It reinvigorated my passion for the show and has kept me a consistent fan despite the communities natural evening out, even if I haven’t been the most consistent person! My first blog in two years would tell you that. 
Apologies once again.
Nonetheless, this site has been exceptionally important as a formative part of my life. It has brought me a degree of comfort from the complications of real life that I am eternally grateful for. This fandom has been a wonderful and wild ride and I am glad I’ve now entered the old guard of grizzled veterans, which I consider an honour.
Speaking of, I have been quite busy working on some stories for a while now. My last story was last summer, but I have tons of drafts done for various little things that have popped into my head from time to time, as well as some stuff that has been sitting on the shelf for a while. In light of my ten years, it would be nice to start posting stuff regularly again.
Touch wood, of course. I have said such a thing before.
In conclusion, it’s been a magical ten years and here’s to more. We can’t let that old flame wither away, can we?
