From what I could tell, the damage seems to have happened pretty recently. How recently I'm not sure. But save for a thin layer of dust and some fires from parts of the wreckage outside the window, I doubt that years have passed. Or at least I hope not. The room I'm currently in isn't worse for wear. A few bits of garbage here and there, but nothing's broken. There doesn't seem to be any electricity, as none of the lights will turn on. After a bit of exploring I've scrounged up what I could. A bag to carry a few supplies like bandages, band aids, etc; chips and candy from the broken vending machine and a radio. There's no batteries for it, though.

I'm stuck with this hospital gown for now, and it's pretty unlikely that I'll find actual clothes for myself any time soon if ever. The late-morning is a bit nippy but it feels like it'll get warmer, but I'll have to figure out how to deal with winter...whenever that is. Although, that might give me a chance to figure out what's going on from any of the pegasi that's part of switching over to the next season if I don't find anyone I know before then.

Leaving the hospital (while wearing slippers, of course) I take a look around the damage. Buildings are cracked and there's lots of debris, some of it smoldering while some still burning. It looks like there was some sort of fight that took place here. The sky is slightly overcast but with patches of blue sky peeking through.

There's a road that goes further into town straight ahead, or I can go right and follow the trail that I think leads to the Apple farm. There's also a leftward path but I've never been to that part of Ponyville.

I wonder which way I should go...
