Journal Entry - Volume 5 - Chapter 17

Dear Diary,

I have successfully... um... infiltrated, I guess, the Cherry Festival. Arc bought Dinky, Ember and myself costumes first thing this morning, so I fit right in. Everyone in sight is dressed up for the occasion, and I really feel as if I'm finally able to walk among them without turning heads!

Actually, that is not completely true. Some stallions have been looking me up and down today. Since I'm nothing special, I can only assume they were admiring my costume. After all... who would be interested in a demon after all?

Overlord Cherry along with her sister and I are doing our very best to serve customers as fast as possible! However, the overlord stopped me at one point and told me to slow down. While I didn't understand why at the time, after thinking about it, I can only imagine it was to avoid running out of food before the end of the night. She's a very shrewd mare, but at the same time, very kind! Two things that I've never seen combined before! The stallions appeared to take note of her as well! Perhaps they wish to learn of her business savvy tactics. What else they could want is beyond me.
