Setting Up for Act (Arc) 2 of Ballad of the Dawn, plus Twitter and Stuff · 6:04am Jul 14th, 2019
Hey guys! Takarashi282 here! Just wanted to update you guys on stuff real fast!
First, Act 2 of Ballad of the Dawn is called an 'act' and not an 'arc'. Just like the word 'act' better.
Second of all, I'm going to take a little more time in planning Act 2. I want it to be the best that it can be, which means a good pace, more clear character arcs, and more consistent characterization. This means that it may or may not take longer for Act 2 to come out. But this is good, because...
Third of all, I'm getting new cover art for Ballad of the Dawn to reflect the tone better. I'll still feature Moonlightfan's/Little Tigress' art as the art for Act 1 (which has already been integrated into the first chapter if you want to check that out), but I'm currently working with a very talented artist for Act 2's cover art. Depending on how the pacing goes there may be an Act 3, but that'll be the final act; I don't want to stretch it out too long. But if that's the case, there may be one or two more pieces of art for Ballad of the Dawn after Act 2's — one for the act itself, the other for the fic as a whole. Or Arc 3 could be the all-encompassing one...
