Dear Diary,
It feel like Luna and I have been on this crazy quest forever now! In fact, I'm starting to questions the validity of Star Swirl's wisdom! World's most precious amethyst... what does that even MEAN?! Is it literal?! Is it symbolism?! WHAT?! While I've never been much for patience, this task really is testing my limits!
Luna, however, doesn't seem to mind the journey! To be completely honest, she's the only reason I haven't thrown up my hooves and given up! I know Star Swirl's the most respected intellectual in the land. I know he's brilliant. What I DON'T know is why he has us out here!!! Luna keeps telling me that one day, when all of this is behind us, we'll be able to laugh about this! Maybe... but I'm sure not laughing now!
Sometimes you have to look deeper than the surface to really see what's going on.
