Voter's Choice - a new story that is so sensitive and blue that I'm going to let you decide if it sees the light of day! · 3:09pm Jun 12th, 2019
So, only a week ago (roughly), I sat down with my new laptop and wrote a story on it as an experiment. It's not what I usually go for, but, to save the rant, the author's notes section covers all of my concerns and thoughts on it, so you'll find most information on the story there. What I'm wondering about is if anybody would really like to see it?
I mean, due to what it's about and what subject matters it contains has me a tad reluctant to click the submission button. I've just sat on the story for a while, pondering about it. I want to push the button and make it public, but there is so much doubt in my mind for what type of reaction / response it will drive up if I make it public. By far, I think it's one of the most sensitive, moving pieces of writing I have ever written, and I didn't even know I had it in me. It has somewhat of a personal tone with me, just for what subject matter I mainly focused upon with the story.
The only thing I'm going to disclose at this time is that the story itself is a Human in Equestria, science-fiction tragedy, focusing heavily upon the theme of death. The title of the story will only be revealed once I have enough people voting for me to make it public. It's not dark, but rather bittersweet and very touchy. If you're hypersensitive, I would steer clear of it. It also features my favourite character of all time, Fluttershy, so, if you're a fan of her, I guarantee that you'll cry. I seem to be able to make people cry without even trying it seems, but, this time, I actually am trying, so you'll be in for it.
All I would like to know is if you would be interested in seeing this story. I will not publish it if nobody wants to see it, and I'll completely understand. It's entirely voter's choice. Just let me know in the comments below if you'd like to see it. I want to put it out there, but I'm not going to be the judge here, you are. So, what is your verdict, Ticket Master?
Will it be a yes or a no?
For me it will be a yes because I like sad stories that make people cry.
