Update On Stories #3 · 2:40am Jun 5th, 2019
It's only been a day since my last update, but I wanted to inform everypony who actually reads these that the story I mentioned "may or may not make it to the light of day" will sadly not be finished. I just don't see myself getting it done, despite how much I thought it would have been a good idea. What I had done, however, will make it to the light of day. I even had a photo for the story, and what I had of the chapter will be shown below along with it:
_ leaves the schoolhouse on his final day of the year, laughing and talking to a friend before waving.
"I'll see you around, maybe next week? I'll be busy for the next few days." He says.
"Yeah, sure _. See you later."
With a smile, _ trots off toward his home. But his smile gradually fades as he thinks about what's ahead of him.
Trotting into his front yard, the first thing to greet his melancholy face is a wood chipper. Secondly, is his extant family from further out in equestria.
"This could take a couple of days, Red." His uncle says to his father.
With a huff, _ goes inside and drops his saddlebag.
"How was your day? Hopefully not too rough on the mind, you've got to get ready for tomorrow." His mother offers a smile.
"It'll take awhile to get all of the equipment set up."_ returned a smile, despite being a fake one.
"It was alright, can I go rest?" He seemed to avoid conversation. "I'd like to just relax for a bit, we had, er– testing today."
She nods and lets her son pass by down the hall. Once out of hearing, she sighs deeply with an understanding of how he really feels.
He shuts the door behind his self and flops on the bed.
This is really happening, isn't it? The whole tree has to come down and (uncle) said it could take some time. They're so annoying, though! Couldn't dad have hired some local company to take care of it?
With a few deep breaths, _ lay in silence before falling asleep.
Day 1
"You better get up." His mother said upon entering his room. "They're about to get started and will need your help."
He grumbled and crawled out of bed, making his way down the hall to grab a head cover. As much as he hated to admit it, he was a face-sweater, meaning if he needs to work a lot he's going to need a bandanna or something to wrap around his forehead.
Pushing the door open, he sees his eldest cousin with a harness around him, scaling the tree with a chainsaw across his hip and attached to a work-belt.
A pegasus would have been a better choice, huh?
And that's all... Sorry it won't ever be finished.
Not even a hiatus? Or did you simply lose the passion to complete your story?

I just lost the passion for it.
