I'm not a writer. I'm Shakespearicles's proofreader and lead editor. And I'm hardly ever on here.

    BronyCon 2019 Activities Assistants

I just received some great news -- Both of my Activities have been approved for the con ! (Yay).

The activities are going to be tons of fun, but here's my problem -- I can't do it alone. I need YOUR help. If you're of the artsy/craftsy sort, and want to be a part of the con, this is a perfect opportunity.

First, the requirements
You plan to definitely attend BronyCon in Baltimore this year and will be in the city by Wednesday evening.
You won't mind working hands-on - this includes setting up, working the event, breaking down.
You can tolerate children and small crowds. (I believe one activity will be children only, and the other will be family friendly.)

What do you need to do ?
I'm looking for anyone who loves crafts. Both events are a make-it-and-take-it type of thing. We want to be able to explain the process, make sure everyone understands the instructions, and have the items completed in a set amount of time. I need someone who is knowledgeable about these things, good with their hands and will be patient with the crafters.
One session will be "Friendship Bracelet" themed. This may include skills such as braiding, macrame, simple jewelry making, beading, etc. I'm not sure which day. I'll know more details in the near future.

The other activity is called "Tutus for You" and we will be making Tutu skirts from different fabrics. This will most likely take place on Thursday, so that people get a chance to wear the skirts as part of their cosplay.

What do you get out of it ? I'm glad you asked.
For helping me out with my activity panels, you will receive your 4-day BronyCon badge at no cost. This will even come with a panelist ribbon, too. If you want to attend the con for FREE, here is your chance. You won't have to work with me the whole weekend, just perhaps 3 or 4 hours on 1 or 2 days. If you're over 21, you may also be able to join the great Shakepearicles and I on the fabled Bar Trot.

So if you think you can help me out, DM me. Let me know which event you'ld like to work, and we can chat. Thanks.

I would absolutely LOVE to say yes, but I don't have a hotel room for the event nor the time to arrange one. I was SO hoping to be able to go to BC one last time, but alas.
