Stories received (and reading) along with a reminder · 3:49am Nov 9th, 2012
A follow up to my previous post:
Thank you all for sending in your suggestions. It all looks promising, and so far I haven't been disappointed. I would like to point something out.
First story I read was A Teacher With No Class by Kavonde. As a Comedy/Slice of Life, it was....not what I had requested, but it was necessary to read as it was part of a trilogy. It was amusing seeing Blueblood and his vanity fall apart, and by foals no less. Not much to say about it, since it was barely 5K and this isn't a review. When I finish the other two stories, then I'll review this story as a part of the trilogy.
Second one that I read was The Empty Room by Wanderer D. I got hooked with no hope of release by the tenth chapter, and it was quite a read. There were some formatting errors but they didn't detract much from the story. Anyone whose read the fic recently might bring to mind a certain piece of speculation from a while ago (SPOILERS FOR THE EMPTY ROOM). I just thought it was funny.
Now, I think I read another, but I can't seem to remember if I did.
Now, about these stories. I did say that they couldn't be romance, or romance induced drama, but they had some shipping hidden within. Now, this isn't a problem, it just caught me off guard. And the shipping was harmless, in that it wasn't a main part of the story (well maybe in The Empty Room but I blame Celestia for that, literally). However, know that I am picky with shipping and a story with it will lose some of my favor if it's something I don't ship or, god forbid, important to the story.
So, if you suggested anything that contains some of the above, please let me know as a warning so that I don't run into it unexpectedly. The former two above are forgivable, but a heads up would be appreciated.
