MacDash group revamped · 11:38pm Jul 21st, 2013
Yesterday, I promised I would make some changes to better suit the abundance of stories we have, along with broaden the range of stories we can cram into the group. Now that it's all been fixed and such, the MacDash group is now much more organized (all I did was add more folders, whoopee).
In addition to that, if you think a story should be added to the group (right now, I'm the Admin and only I can add such stories), just send me the link in a message and I'll see if it has a spot in the group.
For now, I do have some announcements. One, I actually will be opening up Contributor positions, but not with the same freedom as other groups have. For one, Contributors will have their own folder to submit things to, and stories will be moved to their appropriate folders or deleted (this might as well replace the need to send me messages and such). Second, Contributors MUST leave comments on the stories added to the group and the Main folder (the other folders are optional, you don't have to leave comments for stories that get added to things like Clopfics). Since only I can move stories and such, you'll know which story you'll need to leave your comments on. I expect this from Contributors solely because all authors still need help improving their writing skills. I'll work out an infraction system if this is approved.
Lastly, we still need a banner for the MacDash group. If you know of a picture that can fit the banner area for the group, let me know. Or, if you can make one, that'd be appreciated, with all credit given to the original artist (permission must be asked if the art does not belong to you).
Now that we have all of that out of the way, I'm open to suggestions about how to run this group. Feel free to speak up.
I'll volunteer as a contributor, I'm nice and super organized (see my group for proof) sometimes overly organized. If you're interested in me being one Black, just PM me with the details and requirements. As for suggestions for the group, we just need to encourage and help as many MacDash authors as we can. How many people In this group have at least completed their Generals in College? Anyone who has passed English Comp 2 will be a big help!
