Nerfing Discord and New Fantasy Races · 7:17pm Apr 24th, 2019
After a lot of hemming and hawing, I decided to lower Discord's abilities a bit, so he's not as overwhelming as he is in canon. He'll still be #1, but he won't be as OP anymore, mainly because I don't want to deal with the hassle of working around an omnipotent character. He comes up in a flashback in the next chapter and I figured I might as well decided what to do with him now rather than later.
Unrelated to the next chapter are the different races in MLP and two new ones that I wanted to introduce later on in the story. I'm having some issues with naming conventions for the different genders of each species. Like with ponies you have stallions and mares and with deer you have bucks and doe.
But what about:
1. Minotaurs
2. Lamias (snake-people), egg-laying species
3. Arachne (spider-people), egg-laying species
Very open to suggestions as I'm kind of drawing a blank on specific gender terminology
